I just launched “The Glawneez” (a cartoon Metal band). Initially, I was thinking it would be Death Metal (with pinches of Grind-Crust etc) but As i make the music i am already getting the sense that it’s much more of a Crossover sound.

All through the years as I make music I always have Suicidial Tendiencies in mind. Not that I copt them. If you look through my catalog from throughout the years you can see I don’t sound anything like them.

What I mean is that I love Mikes (the singer of ST) voice and vocal style…and that punk ferocity is killer!! I fucking love the Metal/Punk Crossover more than I love straight up punk.

You know I never knew the song “Should I staty or should I go?” was punk I thought it was. gay 80’s New Wave..which, was the industries marketable answer to actual punk. So, imagine my face when I saw a video on Punk Rock NBA or somewhere that said they were punk.

Wuh!

To me Punk was always bands like Old Skull, DRI, SOD..and of course Suicidial Tendencies. But, hey …what do I know, yeah?

Anyw ays…about The Glawneez.

I love Death Metal, (real) Punk Rock, Rap (no so much Hip-Hop), Thrash….so, We’ll see what The Glawneez evolves into.
